Quotes and pricing

We quote a price on the phone based on what you describe. That quote holds for the job as described. If the work turns out to be materially different — a different lock type, a different vehicle, pre-existing damage — we will stop, explain, and give you a revised price before continuing. You may decline at that point.

There is no service-call fee for declining. You get a price on the phone before we roll a truck, so you are never charged simply for turning the job down when we arrive. The only exception is where the work cannot go ahead for a reason on your side — for example proof of ownership cannot be produced, nobody is there to meet us, or the property or vehicle is not where you told us it would be. In that case we may charge for our time and travel distance only, never for the job itself.

Proof of ownership or residence

We will not open a lock without satisfactory proof that you are entitled to access. For a property that generally means photo ID matching the address, a lease or a deed. For a vehicle it means registration or title plus matching photo ID. If proof cannot be provided, we will not perform the work. This is one of the cases described above where a time-and-distance charge may apply, because we have already traveled to you and the reason the job cannot go ahead is not one we control. That charge covers travel only.

Warranty

12-month warranty on parts and labor. The warranty covers parts we supplied and work we performed. It does not cover damage caused after the visit, forced entry, misuse, or work later altered by someone else.

Damage and limitations

Some locks cannot be opened without damage. Where that is the case we will tell you before starting and you decide whether to proceed. We are not responsible for the condition of doors, frames or hardware that were already worn, damaged or improperly installed before we arrived.

Payment

Payment is due on completion. We accept Cash, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover.

Scheduling and arrival times

Arrival windows are estimates given in good faith. Traffic, weather and emergency calls can move them. We will tell you if we are running late.
